Our department can count on 45 women experts, who represent 33% of SCE members of personnel, which is beyond CERN-wide figures.
Being civil engineering experts, administrative professionals, business process gurus, mechanical, computing or HSE engineers, logistics or financial specialists, all of them hold a higher education diploma or equivalent. 42% of them represent the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) domain.
The average age of SCE women is 41, spanning from 24 to 64 years old. We are therefore most fortunate to have a very wide range of age and expertise, offering a remarkable and prolific combination of young blood and long experience to the Organization.
On this International Women Day (8 March) let’s celebrate SCE women experts and collectively #AccelerateAction.
