The traffic disruptions tool, recently developed by SAM-TG and whose full functionality will soon be revealed to the CERN community, displays all traffic disruption points on the CERN map.
The data feeding this map are collected from the “balisage” requests made by SCE or other departments’ work supervisors. Thanks to this, GIS development and the CSA agents (SCE-DOD) support do no longer have to worry about informing various communication key contacts, and they will be able to control the consistency of the roadblocks they plan to implement.
To learn more about this very useful development, stay tuned for the forthcoming announcement in the CERN Bulletin.
