In Buildings 927 and 904, new roofs and smoke extraction systems have been installed, along with significant improvements in the ventilation system of the welding workshop in 904.
B864 is undergoing a full renovation of its sanitary facilities. Simultaneously, the foul water buried network has been upgraded to ensure proper waste management. Additionally, the lighting systems are being completely replaced in the workshops of B864 and B865, and the compressed air systems in B865 are being upgraded to improve visibility and safety.
Other initiatives have been undertaken in the Prévessin site: replacement of conventional lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED lamps, asbestos remediation works have also been carried out in B892 to maintain a healthy and secure environment, roof securing measures in B887/B867/B877/B924/B902/B895/B907/B870 and upgrades to accident-prone road areas have been implemented to enhance on-site safety, like in the parking lot next to B939.
Progress is being made in the studies for the upgrade of the parking lots in Buildings 864 and 865, with works scheduled to start in 2024.
