Right on schedule, the Restaurant 1 will be reopening its doors Monday, March 20, 2023.

The Free Flow (service area) will welcome you back as from Monday 6.00am for breakfast in a new look & feel style (new colors, new lighting, improved furniture, new displays). 

The Grab'n Go is coming back to its original location, completely redesigned.

The seating area will resume to its previous setup but with a few upgrades including more power sockets all around.

The Glassbox will also be back to its location at R1 on the same day.

 

In order to prepare the reopening, R1 will close as from Friday 17th at 2.30pm (extension will remain open on Friday afternoon), reopening on Monday 20th at 6.00am.

The cafeteria in B.40 will welcome you as from Friday 2.30pm until Sunday evening 9pm with an extended offer.

Starting on March 20, we are pleased to announce that the extension of Restaurant 1 will be open 24/7, to allow casual gatherings outside of Novae's presence. CCTV cameras are installed in the area to ensure safety of people and CERN property. In this area are at your disposal: vending and coffee machines, micro-wave ovens, table tennis, sorting waste area.
