Building 3195 will replace the existing building 3150 to provide 800 m2 of workshops, open working spaces, offices and meeting rooms over 2 floors.
The construction method chosen is based on prefabricated modules in order to optimize construction time on site. The material chosen is wood, allowing the project to show good performance in terms of sustainable development. By its typology, building 3195 is identified as a pilot project on wood and modular construction thematic, adapted to office buildings of moderate site at CERN.
B3195 is located at LHC Point 1, Meyrin (CH).
