CSSC

Planned to be effective in August 2024, the CERN Service Support Centre (CSSC) is being set in CERN’s main reception, Building 33.
In an inclusive and intuitive environment, this unique welcoming hub will support newcomers and professional visitors through their onboarding, arrival, and stay at CERN. The CSSC will be the primary facility providing essential services to CERN Member of personnel, their relatives, firms, professional visitors, externals, and retirees. It will deliver a comprehensive range of services, including registration, information, equipment (access card, dosimeters’ distribution), access to online training, and both online and on-site assistance.
Operated by the CERN Service Desk, which will act as the first line of support for CERN services, the CSSC will be open from 7h00 am to 6h30 pm from Monday to Friday. After its full refurbishment it will gather the services formerly set in Building 55 and will offer much better reception conditions to newcomers and better work conditions to the teams.
