SCE has partnered with the SY and BE departments to review the transport between the Meyrin and Prévessin sites. A small working group with members of the SCE mobility team and frequent users of the navette bus had several sessions to understand the current service offer, the needs of the users, and find optimizations. 
After several weeks of constructive discussions, the new timetables for Circuit 5 have been finalized and are effective from February 19th. Circuit 5 has been renamed as Meyrin-Prévessin Express, as the schedule doubles the frequency at peak times and is faster. The revised schedules are currently available to the CERN community on the CERN Campus app and the dedicated SCE webpage.
The updated timetable reflects the commitment to providing efficient and reliable transportation solutions for the CERN community. While this initiative is a time-limited pilot, metrics and criteria for success have been defined by the working group and will be carefully monitored in view to a future consolidation of this circuit and others.  SCE thanks the representatives of the SY and BE Department, Anton and Pablo, for their creativity, excellent analytical skills and collaborative spirit, and the strong endorsement of their Department Heads.
