Water issue highlighted by the last IPCC report (2022) is alarming.

Saving and storing water has become unavoidable according to Emma Haziza, hydrologist, PhD, graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, specialist in territorial resilience strategies against climatic risks and expert in managing risks linked to floods and drought (Le manque d'eau inquiète le Giec et l'ONU).

The question is obviously at the heart of our department concerns, should they be about non-wasting, non-polluting or reducing loss. Together with HSE, SCE is part of a comprehensive strategy on drought and heatwave.

Anticipating and improving the water network, use and storage have become a very important challenge, in which SCE is fully committed and it’s more especially visible through SAM-IN's actions and strategy.

But it's also everyone's effort and responsibility to rethink our practices.
